Keeps calling and harassing me and calling constantly on my cell phone. They also said they will keep calling 1000 times until I cooperate.

Our unlisted home ph number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry for several years. This ph# started calling our number several months ago and the frequency of their calls is increasing. They never leave a voice mail. When I answer, no one is there or maybe I don't stay on the line long enough for a recording to begin. They call at all different times of day and night. I found somehwhere else on line where people complaining about this number say it's a loan company offering out loans or something. Then others say that no one is on the line. I also read when others try to call the number back that they cannot reach anyone. It's a nuisance. The number does not abide by the Do Not Call Registry.

Same question? Where do they get the money for this? And why are they so persistent? What "info" are they inquiring about? Have more inportant issues than listening somebody ramble on about nothing?

This is a collection agency. The name of the entity is A.C.S. The number IDs as a cel phone but when dialed forwards to an inbound center. The trap is obvious- The number appears to be a legit caller, even after Googling, ie; it shows as a cel phone in the San Antonio area, but when dialed it forwards, probably carrying your caller ID info with it, and an operator announces the company name. Called and no one answered. A local number from the same exchange as ours, but says INTL number

This person called my cell phone, and my work. Saying i was being sued for unpaid payday loans. He was very rude and threatened to have me picked up or have me arrested in 3 hours if my attorney did not call them.
